Volunteer your time

Perhaps you don’t have any spare cash, but you do have a little spare time?

You don’t need to be a member of Friends of Same to offer your time and assistance. Friends of Same volunteers can use their experience to update their CV. All volunteers are covered by Personal Accident Insurance.

Ongoing opportunities exist in newsletter production, website support, administrative support, market stalls, coffee marketing and retail customer support and fundraising or being a committee mamber or office holder.

Other ways you can help

• Support our Fundraising initiatives (these are usually advertised in the News section of our site)

• Develop links between your group or organisation and the community of Same

• Come to our functions, meet East Timorese people and find out about their country.

• Invite speakers from Friends of Same to your organisation (Contact us to make a request)

• Develop friendship relationships between schools.

• Buy Timor Friendship Coffee or introduce this product to a potential sales outlet.
