Also the opportunity to buy unique handicrafts etc, and help support educational projects in Timor-Leste.

There are two categories of free membership of the Friends of Same: Full Membership is open to persons who reside, work, volunteer or own property within the City of Boroondara. Membership is available to individuals, not organisations. Full members can vote at General meetings.

Associate Membership is open to all other people and organisations that endorse the purposes of the Friends of Same.

Same Youth Centre
Below are three cartoons in Tetun(East Timor Language) created by members of the Same Youth Centre (CEFOBOM) using computers donated from Friends of Same. 

With a supplementary grant, they have made 300 new books, and are in the processing of designing more.  They will continue to send books to primary students in remote areas of ManuFahi district. 
They have already sent 140 books to  Quirantetuk primary school and 260 books to the primary school in  Suco Bubususso Sub-Distrito Fatuberlio

The Youth Centre people are very grateful to FoS and Rotary. The courses are attended from people from all over Manufahi 
They would like to expand their courses and have written a proposal for 15 more computers to expand their computer course. also musical instruments to run music and media courses, and also sporting equipment to teach sports and maybe form sporting teams.

Rotary computers arrived safely and are being used in classes at the Same Youth Centre. The braillers and braille tablets will be brought by Esther Anderson (Convenor) on Wed 17 July for the Integration Students.
