Friends of Same community meeting

Regular meetings of the Friends of Same are usually held on the first Thursday of every second month.
Our next Friends of Same Community Meeting will be held on Thursday 6 August 2009, 7pm for 7.30pm start, at Hawthorn Community House, 32 Henry Street, Hawthorn. (NB postponed from July) Adjacent Central Gardens (Melway 45 E10).
Film night fundraiser

All profits will be split between:
Tuition costs for training a Timorese dentist to work in
East Timor

Fuan Nabilan Centre for blind or vision-impaired
children and teenagers in East Timor (Supported by Friends of Same.)

Ryder-Cheshire Victoria Culinary Fundraiser

Venue: Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre, corner Bell Street and St Georges Road, Preston.
Fundraising dinner for Klibur Domin — East Timor, a home for the relief of suffering.
Come and enjoy dinner prepared by two of Melbourne's best loved Chefs, Andrew McConnell and Matt McConnell.
